Ultré follows the inspiration of one person — Blane Alexander Kieng. It began with a simple conviction: that the best travel is not a catalogue of expensive things, but a way of looking at the world.

For more than 28 years, Blane has travelled and arranged travel with a particular set of interests — real local food, places that take some finding, settings worth remembering, and the pleasure of moving at one's own pace. The result is a quietly held world of private places and considered experiences, from an estate kept entirely for one party to a small kitchen where the cooking tells the story.

What joins these things is character. A celebrated destination and a place few people know can both belong here, if they are genuinely themselves. Ultré is less interested in expense than in thought — in knowing what is worth the journey, and in keeping what is arranged, and for whom, private.

Ultré works through selected partners — private banks, wealth managers, family offices, private members' clubs and luxury brands — making this world available behind relationships that already exist. Each journey begins with the interests and preferences of the people travelling.
